The topic this week is about surrender and how hard it can be to surrender at times. I have used the example of Christ in Gethsemane and how he asked to be allowed to go forward in a different way but still said: “Nevertheless” when addressing his Father. The other stories that are pertinent are Job when he said that even if God were to let him die (slay him) yet would he trust Him or the fiery furnace when the 3 Hebrews said: “God is able to deliver us but if He does not we will still trust Him”.
